Wild Dog Guest Lodge, it’s dedicated team, tranquil setting, intimate atmosphere and comfortable bush cottages, is undoubtedly the ultimate choice for a bush getaway, an unforgettable honeymoon or a corporate break. It’s a great base to explore the nearby Big 5 Game Reserves, Kruger National Park, the Blyde Canyon, and the Panorama Route.

Wild Dog Guest Lodge will be under new management from March 2020 with Henro and Vicky, the hosts who will warmly welcome guests to this peaceful hidden bushveld gem. Henro is a qualified South African Tourist Guide who have regularly visited the Hoedspruit region and Greater Kruger for the last 15 years. He is a passionate adventurer and has a great love and respect for nature and wildlife. Vicky manages the lodge and she is highly driven to build her African dream bushveld gem while offering the finest, most intimate stay.

Africa has a spellbinding effect on most first time travelers. Many who have grown up on this continent will tell you that Africa will stay in their blood forever, no matter where they might end up in the world - it is home.

Hoedspruit Delight

Actually had 6 days here and what a pleasure. Great facilities, hosts & staff with lots of wildlife activities close by and on the doorstep. If you are thinking about staying in a wildlife estate and looking at Wild Dog Inn just do it, I don't think you will be disappointed. The main complex and cottages are very good.

Vicky was a great Hostess. I loved everything, from the moment we confirmed our booking Vicky and Henro immediately started communicating with us regarding our stay, access codes and directions were shared way ahead of our arrival date/time. Great stay and experience at Wild Dog!

We stayed 5 days, family of 6 persons. We had a great stay. The hosts were really helpful with all kinds of information for visiting Hoedspruit and Kruger. Very nice houses and very clean, with great breakfast. When visiting Kruger very early they made a delicious breakfast to go. The accommodation is in the middle of a wild life property. Beautiful accommodation in a well located reservation.

Vicky and Henro are very friendly and helpful. They were easy to reach for us and super flexible. We felt comfortable :) The rooms are large and the beds extremely comfortable. The terrace is inviting and we enjoyed using the fire pit. The decor is very tasteful.

We loved staying in Henry's villa! It is so peaceful and quiet, yet there is so much to do. Amazing location in nature

The location and the hosts! It is so beautiful to wake up and see giraffe, impala, wrattenzwijntjes (pumbaa or vlakvark) the accommodation is great. All the compliments to this wonderful location.
